Institute for Community Living helps individuals with mental illnesses, substance abuse issues and developmental disabilities live their best, fullest and healthiest lives. The organization centers itself on four pillars – person-centered, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and an integrated health model. For three decades, ICL has provided life-changing care to clients regardless of where each person starts. Twice a year, ICL conducts Healthy Living and Satisfaction Surveys where clients provide information that helps the organization do its best work. According to results from the 2018 survey, 97 percent of ICL’s behavioral health clients believed that they had the ability to make the changes necessary to improve their physical and mental health.
