While one part of the bar is completely enclosed, the rooftop garden is completely open, giving you incredible views of Manhattan while you sip on a Manhattan (or whatever your drink of choice is!). Large umbrellas are available for particularly sunny or rainy days, and the roof is partially heated for those colder nights. Don’t forget to stop by for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.!

When Cubbyhole threatened to close down in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and economic turndown, when so many small businesses were throwing in the towel, patrons flocked to GoFundMe to save Lisa Menachino’s beloved watering hole. Located in the heart of the West Village, Cubbyhole caters to the lesbian community and operates as a respite from the rest of the world where LGBTQ folks can gather together. Newly reopened, Cubbyhole boasts new frozen cocktail machines that create delicious daiquiris, margaritas and frose to their devoted following. Cubbyhole, one of the last two lesbian bars in New York City, is a staple in the community to grab a drink and a bite to eat with other like-minded folks and feel accepted.
