Founded in 2007 by Former Heavyweight Reese Scott, Women’s World of Boxing helped start a fitness movement. Scott began boxing over 20 years ago in an effort to get in shape. Through her fitness journey, she wanted to create an environment where other people felt safe, supported and comfortable while learning how to box. Scott started the gym in 2018 in East Harlem and it has since grown into one of the premier boxing places for people city wide. Today through both group and individual classes, Coach Reese is helping teach the sport to everyone who comes through her doors and is training the next generation of boxers.
