Taught by The Harlem School of the Arts’ faculty, many of whom are professional artists currently working in their chosen fields (musicians, dancers, actors and visual artists), campers will visit amazing sites they may not see otherwise: The Lucille Lortel Theater to see a new musical, the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, the Bronx Zoo, The New York Hall of Science, South Street Seaport and more. Participants will also engage in community service projects, such as creating handmade cards for seniors or helping to maintain the gardens in Riverside Park. Children ages 4 and up have curated classes for their age groups, and can pick their own interests — such as Hip-Hop Dance, Photography, Graphic & Web Design, Slam Poetry, music courses and more. Participants will walk away as more cultured members of the community, and they’ll be the better for it!
