You’re in a hurry — you need to get to your office, or you need to catch a train. Either way, you need some food, but there’s no time to sit down anywhere. Naturally, you look for a classic Manhattan food truck. Well, the best Manhattan has to offer is the Biryani Cart, located on 112-110 W 46th Street. This cart has been winning food awards since it opened in 2004. Chef Meru Sikder is both the brains and brawn behind the operation — as food truck operators tend to be — and he is known for his signature kati roll, although people have also raved about the biryani for which the truck is named. But don’t just think you have to be walking on the street to enjoy their food, as Biryani Cart also works with DoorDash and Grubhub to bring their treats directly to you.
