There’s no doubt that New York City kids have the most fun summer when their parents send them to Modern Martial Arts’ summer day camp. This martial arts school has five locations across the city, and the business prides itself on the awesomeness of its summer program for kids. Children ages 5 to 12 can participate in the program, where they engage in fun activities and field trips from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every weekday throughout the summer. Families can choose how many weeks they’d like to send their kid(s) — anywhere from one to eight weeks — and pay per week. Activities include martial arts lessons, Japanese weapons training, arts and crafts, and silent reading time, as well as field trips to museums, laser tag, bowling, the zoo, and more.
